A Call for Privacy
Are you looking for a portable solution that creates a private space for individuals or one-on-one breakout sessions in an open office environment? For some, the term “phone booth” may conjure up visions of bright red, outdoor structures in England or the transformation of a mild, mannered reporter into a superhero. Much like comparing smart phones to the traditional phone of yesteryear, today’s phone booths are a far cry from their namesake of the past.

Both pods and booths incorporate materials designed for acoustic performance and sound insulation. This allows for privacy while taking a phone call or face-to-face meeting. Sound absorbing material also minimizes noise distractions inside and outside the pods.
A Breathe of Fresh Air
Enclosed phone booths from BuzziSpace, Nevins, and Nook all feature built-in ventilation systems to keep the air flowing and prevent the indoor spaces from heating up. Many of these booths feature sensors that automatically turn the ventilation system on when someone enters. According to Zenbooth their fan “circulates a booth’s worth of fresh air every minute to keep you cool and smelling fresh while you work.”
Need power? Most phone booth and pods feature integrated power solutions including USB ports and Qi charging stations. These power stations offer plenty of juice to keep your laptop or phones fully charged. Almost all privacy stations have built-in LED lights to brighten your workspace. In addition to LED lights the Zenbooth Quad even has a built-in plexiglass skylight ceiling. Like with the ventilation, some booths incorporate sensors to automatically turn lights on and off.
Time for a Change?
Almost all privacy pods and booths can be relocated to a new spot by two people or less. Booths from Swiftspace, BuzziSpace and Nook have built-in casters that allow the booths to be rolled to a new location without the need to disassemble. Even the Zenbooth Solo can easily be moved by one person when placed on carpet or with furniture slider pads.
